We at Leichtfried Loden are proud to combine tradition and innovation. Our wool fabrics are made from 100% Australian merino wool in Austria and are increasingly used in interior design and contract furnishing, especially in public buildings.

We are delighted to present our latest project to you: the furnishing of the community center in Lech am Arlberg with tailor-made curtains and acoustic panels. This project, realized in 2024, was implemented with the utmost care and technical expertise in our in-house sewing department.

On December 15th we will launch our new blankets & cushions collection online. Made from one the most exclusive natural fibre - Australian Merino wool. Both cushions and blankets will be your ideal companion for cozy home moments on your sofa. Or a perfect Christmas gift (or post-Christmas gift, we know we are a bit late...).

The ideal winter coat in 100% mulesing-free Merino wool, which does not pill and does not fear any weather condition. Due to the water- & dirt-repellent AQUASTOP impregnation, this coat is perfectly suited for cold autumn or winter days.

For more than 40 years, Leichtfried Loden has been working closely with the renowned traditional costume manufacturer Lanz in Salzburg. In autumn 2020, we visited master tailor Georg Auer in his studio and got exciting insights into his work with our fine woollen Merino fabrics.

Our fine woollen fabrics have always been known for their use in alpine clothing or in international fashion collections. However, more and more interior designers and architects nowadays rely on our merino wool fabrics to develop innovative and unique interiors.

At Leichtfried Loden, we do care about animal welfare! Since 2020 we only use certified mulesing-free Australian Merino wool. We also expect this respect for the environment and all living beings from our suppliers. This is why we have obligated them to source only mulesing-free Merino wool.
